There have been ideas swirling around in my brain again. I know, this probably isn’t a good thing, but they do their thing, swirling about, pestering me, until I throw them out there to the world. So, here we are.
Let me begin by saying that I want All Of The Content From All Of You. Every last bit of it. I want all of us to share and all of us to learn. (Yes, I’m a huge Pollyanna.)
I want to publish articles and videos of pretty planners and functional planners, planners on rings and planners on strings, planners that fit into a tiny purse and planners that never leave a desk because their heft would easily cause the bearer to herniate.
If you’re unsure of how to go about this, please, please email me and I will help. I absolutely don’t know everything (not by a long shot), but I will do everything in my power to help you get your voice out there.
And, if you want to contribute but are unsure of how, here’s a teensy list to get you thinking:
— Guys who plan: I know you’re out there. A few of you have joined the party here, and I absolutely can not thank you enough! For those who haven’t jumped in yet, please don’t let all of the Pretty that you might see in the Planner World scare you away. A lot of us like our Pretty and we’re vocal about it, but that does not mean there isn’t a welcoming place for you right along with the Pretty. I steadfastly believe that there is room in the planning community for everyone, every planning system, every planning style, pretty or functional notwithstanding. So, Planner Dudes, send me your articles and blog posts and videos!
— Photo Collections: Following on from the Planner Charms collection in this issue, I’d like to do something similar in each issue… a themed collection of photos. The next issue will be released in June, and I’d like to do a Tabs Collection. Send me pictures of your tabs! Just click on that bold text, include any social media info you’d like included with your tabs photo(s), and attach your photos.
— Changing planner types or methods: How many of you have changed from rings to strings, coilbound to regular bound, from any style of planner to another? Or maybe you switched methods, from a Franklin Covey system to a Bullet Journal, or from Filofax inserts to a simple blank book. How did you make that leap? What was your process? How did it work out for you?
— Printing on Tomoe River Paper: This has been requested more than once, and, as I’ve never tried it myself, I’m deferring to all of you brave souls who have made this work. Pretty, pretty please? (I’m making Big Anime Eyes at you, pleading…).
I look forward to hearing from all of you! Thank you!
