Letter From the Editor

Ah, summer. The kids are out of school, the sky is the bluest blue, and everything is full of color.

This issue is slam-full of summer fun. Have you been considering trying to journal so you can look back on some of those wonderful summer memories, but found yourself intimidated? Dawn Paoletta has great advice to help with that.

Are you trying to enjoy those summer moments more than you have in the past? Karine Tovmassian can tell you about that.

Natasha Goode starts a fantastic series in this issue that will show you several different planner uses and options.

If you’re a One Book All Year kind of planner, see part one of Jason Alterskye’s thoughts and process regarding using only one planner all year long.

And, of course, next month is One Book July! Rhomany, Vicky, and myself have put together a little history of One Book July and a small intro to this year’s “extra” challenge (we’ve called it “Go Big or Go Home”).

The issue cover and nearly all of the Featured Images for the articles are from the newly-released Inner Calm kit from Digital Designs by Jodi on Etsy (several pieces of this kit are on sale at the time of this writing… you can also use the code CARIESENTME30OFF for 30% off of your purchase of non-sale items!)

So, grab an iced tea, your sunglasses, and your planner, kick back in your hammock or lounge chair, and enjoy this issue!

I think I can speak for all of the planner tramps…(who identify clearly as such) – GRATEFUL for you, Carie! And your dedication to all things pen and paper…and slightly digital.

Thanks for persevering and getting the June issue out in June! Was sweating awaiting that issue, my first published work and i couldn’t see it in the first week of June!! Phew all’s well that ends well – perhaps for my next paper i shall try an equally esteemed publication… “New England Journal of Medicine” anyone? LOL

I see that my reply to one of your readers was posted twice, i think i got carried away with hitting the “submit” button. An error message came up telling me to slow down i was replying too quickly! Well exscuuuse me! 🙂 Roll on July!!
